1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Loan & EMI Pro (“the Application,” “App,” “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and the developers and publishers of Loan & EMI Pro, governing your access to and use of our mobile application across all supported devices and operating platforms.

If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Application and must uninstall it immediately.

2. CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: Financial Calculation Utility Only

Loan & EMI Pro is exclusively a mathematical calculation, simulation, and educational utility.

We are NOT a bank, credit union, lender, credit broker, or Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC).

We do NOT issue, underwrite, broker, solicit, disburse, or facilitate personal loans, home loans, car loans, mortgages, lines of credit, or any financial products.

We do NOT charge interest, collect loan repayments, or process financial transactions.

We do NOT act as an agent, broker, or referral partner for any lending institution.

We do NOT access, inspect, store, or verify your credit score, CIBIL/Experian reports, bank statements, or national identity numbers (SSN, Aadhaar, PAN, etc.).

2.1 No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

All amortization tables, interest estimates, prepayment simulations, debt-to-income ratios, and loan comparison outcomes generated within the App are mathematical approximations based solely on parameters provided directly by you (such as loan principal, nominal annual interest rate, tenure, and fees).

Financial institutions calculate interest and amortizations using varying compounding frequencies (daily, monthly, quarterly 360/365 day conventions), rounding rules, and variable benchmark margins.
The figures presented by this App do not constitute financial advice, credit approval, or legal counsel.
You must always cross-reference calculations with official disclosure statements and loan agreements issued directly by your licensed financial institution or professional advisor before entering into any financial commitment.

3. Eligibility & User Representation

By accessing or using Loan & EMI Pro, you represent and warrant that:

You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms under the laws of your jurisdiction.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18 years of age), you are using this educational utility under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You will not use the Application for any unlawful, deceptive, or unauthorized purpose.
Your use of the Application does not violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Application, including its source code, UI/UX architecture, algorithms, computational logic, text, graphics, icons, visual designs, audio-visual elements, and trademarks, is our proprietary intellectual property and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret, and intellectual property laws.

4.1 Limited License

Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to:

Download, install, and run the Application on personal mobile devices solely for your personal, non-commercial financial planning and calculation purposes.
Export, print, or share personal calculation summaries and PDF amortization schedules generated for your personal use.

4.2 Prohibited Actions

You expressly agree that you will not:

Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, decrypt, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application.
Modify, adapt, translate, enhance, or create derivative works from the Application.
Distribute, license, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit any part of the Application or its algorithms without prior written authorization.
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright notices, watermarks, or trademark attributions appearing within the Application or exported documents.
Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or extraction tools to access or harvest data from the App.
Circumvent or bypass any security features, technical limitations, or advertisement display mechanisms embedded within the Application.

5. Local Data Storage & User Content

Loan & EMI Pro is engineered with an offline-first, zero-remote-transmission architecture:

On-Device Storage: All custom loan profiles, saved comparisons, amortization schedules, and user preferences are stored locally on your device using sandboxed local storage (e.g., SQLite and SharedPreferences).
No Cloud Synchronization: We do not host, store, or transmit your calculation records to any remote server or cloud database.
Data Responsibility & Backups: Because your records reside exclusively on your physical device, uninstalling the Application, clearing device application cache/data, or switching devices will permanently erase your locally stored records. You are solely responsible for exporting and archiving your calculation reports (e.g., via PDF export) to your personal storage.
We shall have no liability to you for any loss or corruption of your locally stored calculation data.

The Application provides functionality allowing you to generate and share calculation summaries and amortization schedules (e.g., PDF documents or text summaries) through external applications installed on your device (e.g., Email clients, WhatsApp, Google Drive, Telegram).

When you share an exported calculation or schedule, the handling and transmission of that document are governed exclusively by the third-party platform and your personal settings.
We do not intercept, monitor, inspect, or retain copies of documents shared via third-party channels.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you do not transmit sensitive personal or financial information to unintended recipients.

7. Third-Party Services & Advertisements

The Application may integrate third-party developer software development kits (SDKs) to support application performance and monetization:

Advertisements displayed in the Application are delivered by third-party ad networks. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any product, service, loan offer, or financial product promoted within third-party advertisements.
Any interaction or transaction between you and any third-party advertiser is strictly between you and that third party.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

[!CAUTION] THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS-IS” AND “AS-AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

We expressly disclaim all warranties, express, statutory, or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment.
We make no representations or warranties that:
- The Application will meet your specific financial calculation requirements or goals.
- The Application will operate uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses, bugs, or glitches.
- The calculations, formulas, interest figures, or amortization projections will perfectly match those issued by your specific bank, credit provider, or financial institution.
- Any defects, mathematical discrepancies, or computational variations across different regional banking conventions will be immediately corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

[!WARNING] TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS, PUBLISHERS, AFFILIATES, OR CONTRIBUTORS OF LOAN & EMI PRO BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.

This limitation applies to, without limitation:

Any financial losses, loss of profits, loss of savings, or economic consequences resulting from decisions made in reliance on calculations, comparisons, or schedules provided by the App.
Differences between App estimates and actual loan offers, charges, interest rates, penalty fees, or prepayment conditions imposed by lending institutions.
Loss, corruption, or unavailability of locally stored calculation records.
Any unauthorized access to or alterations of your transmissions or device data by third parties.
Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Application or any features therein.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the developers, publishers, officers, agents, and affiliates of Loan & EMI Pro from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or in connection with:

Your access to or use of the Application;
Your violation of any provision of these Terms;
Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or
Any financial decisions, loan agreements, or obligations you enter into with third-party lenders or institutions.

11. Application Updates & Modifications

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

Modify, enhance, update, or discontinue any feature, calculator, algorithm, or service within the Application at any time without prior notice.
Release mandatory or optional updates through the Google Play Store to maintain stability, security, and policy compliance.
Impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Application without liability.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise and update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Application, user feedback, or evolving legal and regulatory frameworks (including Google Play Developer Program Policies).

Any revisions will take effect immediately upon being posted with an updated “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
Your continued use of Loan & EMI Pro following the publication of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance and agreement to the modifications. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Severability & Entire Agreement

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our [Privacy Policy](file:///d:/flutter-project/emi_calculator/PRIVACY_POLICY.md), constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning your use of the Application, superseding any prior understandings, representations, or agreements.
No Waiver: Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision.
